ELBERT COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – Investigators say a 12-year-old boy started a small brush fire near the Aurora Reservoir on Saturday.
The small fire broke out on the west side of the reservoir in the afternoon. Smoke could be seen from Denver when the fire started.

Fire crews quickly doused the flames.
A father told CBS4 his son accidentally sparked the blaze. The boy was issued a summons.
